Location is key

Once you’ve decided on a community, it’s time to scope out the best home site for your family. There are a few things to keep in mind when selecting a site, especially if it’s a newer community with more available lot options. 

While all of Boone’s communities have been designed with residents’ comfort and quality of life in mind, personal preferences can play the largest role in site selection. Some people love living closer to the entrance of their community, while others prefer as far from outside roads as possible. If a community backs up to green space or woods, decide if it’s important for you to have a view. Some communities have amenities included, and homeowners should determine how close or far they’d prefer to live to them. Lastly, consider if you’d rather live on a passing street or on a cul-de-sac, if available. How your floor plan fits in
