Builder of the Year at the 2026 MAME Awards

We’re honored to share that Boone Homes has been named Builder of the Year (1–50 homes category) at the Home Building Association of Richmond Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence Awards (MAME).

Awards are always meaningful, but this one feels especially significant. It reflects not just what we build, but how we build, and the people, partnerships, and processes behind it.

Over the past year, our focus has remained the same: creating homes that feel intentional from the start and a building experience that feels clear and supported along the way. That has meant continuing to evolve our home designs, including the development of new floor plans that respond to how buyers are living today. It has also meant spending time with realtors, exploring other markets, and identifying where there are opportunities to better serve buyers in the Richmond market.

At the same time, we’ve continued to invest in the experience itself. From introducing a dedicated Customer Experience Coordinator to developing tools like community-specific lookbooks and our Boone Homes app, everything is designed to make the process more straightforward, more transparent, and ultimately more enjoyable for our homeowners.

Behind the scenes, this recognition also reflects long-standing involvement in the homebuilding industry. Through leadership, advocacy efforts, and partnerships across the region, our team remains committed to supporting thoughtful growth and housing opportunities in the communities we serve.

Of course, none of this happens without the strength of our team and trade partners. Many of the people behind our homes have been with Boone Homes for years, even decades. That consistency shows up in the details—in how our homes come together, how our communities are planned, and how we show up for our buyers.

Our philosophy has always been simple: great homes are built by experienced people, strong relationships, and proven processes. When those things come together, the result is something that lasts.

In addition to Builder of the Year, we’re also proud to have received Best Marketed Community and Best Specialty Events at The Villas at Swift Creek. Our sales team was also recognized for their outstanding performance, with Gold Sales Volume ($5M+) awarded to Kayla Keihn and Amna Hunt, and Silver Sales Volume ($2.5M+) awarded to April Baldini and Harrison Robertson.

We’re grateful for the recognition, but even more grateful for the homeowners, partners, and team members who make it all possible.
